Armstrong

The City of Armstrong is located in the North Okanagan between Vernon and Enderby and is honestly one of my favourite little towns.  It overlooks the Spallumcheen Valley, which forms a broad pass between the Okanagan Valley to the south and the Shuswap Country to the north. With a population of about 5,500 and growing steadily, Armstrong has a small town country feel with a mix of residential living and thriving local business.  Armstrong is home to many wonderful schools, including Highland Park Elementary, Armstrong Elementary School, Len Wood Middle School and Pleasant Valley Secondary School.  Armstrong also plays host to the IPE, one of the valley’s largest provincial exhibitions with a midway and rodeo.  From Armstrong take a short drive to many of the the Okanagan’s Great Lakes including Shuswap, Mabel, Kalamalka and Okanagan Lake.
