Lumby
Lumby is a small community of 1,731 people, located near the edge of the Monashee Mountains and is about a 20 minute drive from the City of Vernon. It is mainly a logging, manufacturing and agriculture community. In Lumby you will find some of the Okanagan’s most affordable living, with anything from sprawling acreages on rolling hills to single family residential homes in a very community focused environment. The town of Lumby has wonderful recreational grounds as well as J.W Inglis Elementary and Charles Bloom Secondary Schools. Shops line the main thoroughfare that passes through Lumby while on route to either Vernon or Cherryville and beyond to the Arrow Lakes and Purcell Mountains.
